The members of REGRS are located in a broadly defined area known as the Redwood Empire -- that is, where Coast Redwoods are native trees. Our region borders on that of the Bay Area Garden Railway Society (BAGRS) to the south and the Sacramento Valley Garden Railway Society to the north and east. Our clubs are not exclusive, and you may be a member of more than one if you choose.
Here is some information to get you started with other garden railway clubs in our area:
The Redwood Empire Garden Railway Society is an informal
outdoor railroad model club in Northern California.
Our interests include:
•
Don Herzog's "Plant of the Month"
To learn more about model railroading in the garden, meet our club members, arrange a visit to a member's garden train layout, attend one of our monthly meetings as a guest, talk model railroading with hobbyists and railroad model builders, or to join the REGRS as a member, please contact the Redwood Empire Garden Railway Society by sending an email to Ken Brody -- westie@sonic.net. |
