LOCAL CLUBS YOU CAN JOIN
The members of REGRS are located in a broadly defined area known as the Redwood Empire -- that is, where Coast Redwoods are native trees. Our region borders on that of the Bay Area Garden Railway Society (BAGRS) to the south and the Sacramento Valley Garden Railway Society to the north and east. Our clubs are not exclusive, and you may be a member of more than one if you choose.

National Garden Railway Society Convention in 2016.
Formed in 1988 to promote garden railroading in the San Francisco Bay Area, this large club has hosted the National Garden Railway Convention (NGRC) in 1988, 1993, 1998, and 2006. The BAGRS is divided into 8 Districts, stretching from Marin County in the north to Santa Cruz and San Benito County in the south.

Founded in 1988, the Sacramento Valley Garden Railway Society holds monhly meetings, operates a modular layout, and hosts a live steam special interest group. Members are located in Sacrament, Redding, and as far east as Reno, Nevada.
